The guttering above my house is making a loud rattling noise when th ewind is blowing. When water hits the gutter rattles and makes noise. The problem is a vibrational resonance during gusts and you can only hear it upstairs so it keeps you awake on windy nights. The problem has been fixed.

You should have a gutter bracket at least every 1 metre. So the gutter is lifting slightly in the high wind.
